Before you can make your classroom more fun it really depends on who’s in your class, what are the age group, ethnicity, gender, predisposition (like hopes, fears, positives/negative,) and the knowledge of the subject. If you have a bunch of 5 year olds you could use a reward system that would get the kids to learn and have fun at the same time. That might even work with older children also, but not so much with adults but if you want to try, try it. You could also make learning into a game and also probably would peak peoples interests. If its fun they will more than likely stick around, and want to learn whatever it is your teaching. It also depends on the subject; sometimes the subject will also give you ideas about how to make it fun. Even just talking to the student as though they were your equal, and giving them encouragement such as great job, that was awesome will make the student want to learn more. Some teacher used the TV program called quantum leaps to teach English to Japanese students. They also say that you should keep it personal and use stories about yourself, but if you don’t have any stories about yourself use stories that someone told you just change some name around and add to it to make it interesting. Teachers aren’t teachers to be your friend they went to school for a long time and want to help teach you. Teachers aren’t paid to make games out of school work either there paid to teach you the material that is required. Another thing is that if teachers make it too fun the only thing that the kids will remember is the fun stuff, not the stuff that you are trying to teach them
